High School Host Fund

UC Berkeley and many of its student organizations have programs that host high school students. These programs instill values ranging from leadership, cultural awareness, professional experience, and more. This fund is primarily for programs that host high school students from local underprivileged communities where they are often discouraged to visit or apply to colleges.

Disabled Students Community Program

The DSCP provides cohesive community resources for students with disabilities that prevent access to the campus community. For example, the program could connect a student fluent in American Sign Language with a deaf student for academic or social purposes. Other student organizations can also connect with the DSCP. Involvement is completely voluntary and confidential.

What’s your favorite thing about Cal?

I get to meet at least one new person every day.

What inspires you to serve the student body at Cal?

All of my peers who believe in me inspire me to serve the student body. As a senator, I want to show that we can make meaningful change together.
