1. Ensuring Cooperative Representation
I was elected to represent the needs and interests of Berkeley Student Cooperative (BSC) and other campus cooperatives in the ASUC. I am dedicated to working alongside the BSC to help meet the needs of our cooperative community and to help our cooperative grow.
2. Expanding Mental Health Resources
I ran on a platform to increase student mental health services. I want to help connect BSC Health workers to University Health Services (UHS). However, I also want to advocate for more mental health services and I want to help establish a Peer Wellness Counseling Program in order to better support students’ mental health needs.
3. Fighting Against Sexual Assault
I ran on a platform to create an ASUC Sexual Assault Commission. After establishing the commission last spring, I want to work alongside the Director of the Sexual Assault Commission and other Senators to hold the university accountable to implementing changes to its sexual assault policies and procedures.
What’s your favorite thing about Cal?
I am grateful for the rich history of student organizing at UC Berkeley because it fosters student autonomy and student power.
What inspires you to serve the student body at Cal?
I am dedicating to fighting for transformative social change and I believe that our student government can be a powerful force to create a more just and equitable society.
